TL partners with Hattie Larlham.
TL Worldwide has partnered with Hattie Larlham, an organization that helps to better the lives of individuals with disabilities. TL’s PR Director, Garry Moneypenny, discovered that Hattie Larlham was looking for companies to hire individuals involved in their program. “As soon as I heard they were looking, I thought our porter position would be perfect,” Moneypenny, said.
TL currently has two Hattie Larlham individuals working as car washers and they are in negotiations for two to three more. “This fits the rich tradition Nancy has already established, here at TL. She always looks for causes to give back.” Moneypenny added.
Owner, Nancy Brodie has partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation, Camp Quality, Miracles Can Happen, Ms. Wheelchair USA, Lebron James Foundation and now Hattie Larlham. “We are fortunate to have them in Northeast Ohio,” Moneypenny stated.
It’s an amazing organization,” Brodie stated. “We are so blessed to be able to have candidates that work for us. We are looking forward to having more. It’s just brought a whole new cheerleading camp to everyone at the facility. Everyone has embraced them. They have come out of their shell and we are looking forward to doing more work in the future.”
Brodie has always believed in giving back. “It’s a good feeling. To see the progress and the interactions of the candidates grow, is very rewarding.”
